NFC Tonelli’s Rising Sun elected to American Field Hall of Fame in Grand Juntion, Tennesee

NFC/FC/7X CH Tonelli’s Rising Sun owned by Douglas Stocks and bred by Terry Zygalinski was elected to this years class of inductees to the Hall of Fame.  This is a fitting tribute to a dog that displayed his greatness not just in the winning he did in the field but to his greatness as a prepotent sire for the breed. His influence is still being seen today in so many of the top competing dogs in the breed.

On Feb 8, 2020 in a ceremony at “The National Bird Dog Museum”  in Grand Juntion, Tennesse, he will be formally inducted into the Hall of Fame. A painting of him will be hung in the museum next to so many of the other great German Shorthair Pointers that make the breed what it is today.  Truly an honor and tribute a great dog that I had the pleasure to own and love. He is alive and well in the pedigree of the dogs I still breed today.
